For strategy formulation, we use a structured process to create an IT strategy that is closely aligned to the business strategy. This is based on the Summit-S methodology from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in which our Directors are trained. This is a business needs led framework, which assess your technology, based on your current and future business needs. A roadmap is then created in discrete steps, which can then help you align and uplift your IS/IT to fully support and enable your business objectives.
To implement IT Strategy, we model our processes on VALIT and COBIT frameworks. Most consultancy assignments, end right at the delivery of the voluminous report and a presentation and a fat bill! This may be exactly what the organisation wants, but we know for sure, many times this is not sufficient. Management want results, they want change and they want an efficient low cost IS/IT operation.
We have the ability to go further and deliver the strategy via a team of 900 IT staff and via other carefully selected global products and partners. The logcial end to this process is an IS/IT organisation that is aligned,flexible, lowest cost (we would include outsourcing where appropriate)
Further, we help management, review their IT strategy for business alignment and audit execution of strategy to provide assurance that progress is being achieved and benefits are being realised as intended. We draw upon the VALIT framework and the Benefits Realisation Approach as well as a Summit-S derived methodology in our review processes.
